Abstract:

After their formal presentations, Steven Weinberg and John Polkinghorne engaged in a discussion of the issues of science and religion and design as well as responding to questions from the audience. Owen Gingerich moderated the discussion. The following is a transcript of their comments in which an effort has been made to retain their voices.
